The Dashboard shows you multiple bits of information. It shows you your upcoming shifts, shift additions, changes and more.
This is where the schedule is located for the app. At the top you will see different types of schedules.
My Schedule This shows you what days you are scheduled and can provide easy access to schedule time off. Full Schedule This shows you the schedule of the entire Flub's staff. This provides access to claim available shifts. Available I assume this is for open shifts but I can never get it to work.
How to Schedule Time Off Go to the date that you need off (NOTE: if you have a reoccuring activity like a sport practice, you need to schedule that each individually) Press the Date and click Request Time Off. If you need to schedule time off, you MUST do it in advance. To ensure you get that date off, do it ideally 2 weeks in advance. If you need it to be all day, ensure that All day is switched, if it is just within a certain timeframe, deselect all day. To change the time/date of it, click from and to and schedule within the corresponding times. Place a comment with why you need off.
How to find a sub If you are scheduled and cannot finds a sub. It is your responsibility to find a sub. You must work that shift until it has been approved by a manager. If you can't work a shift you have two options. You can either make a shift available for anyone to take, or you can individually offer it to someone else. To do this, click the shift you want to give away, click the three dots in the corner, and click which option you would like to do. To best find a sub, you should message in the Subs Group Chat on the app. Once somebody has taken the sub, you will see that the app says awaiting manager approval. If you need a manager to approve the sub immediately, message in the group chat on the app. You are still responsible for a shift until a manager has approved of the sub.
How to claim a Shift If you want to claim a shift, go to the full schedule tab and look for shifts with a circle with an A and 6 lines. Click that shift, click the 3 dots in the corner, click apply for shift. You are not responsible to that shift until it is approved by a manager.
MANAGER: How to approve of a shift You will get a notification of someone applying for a shift. Once you click on the shift that is being changed, click the 3 dots in the corner. Click approve. Then you're done.
